About this image

The lighting for this image was perfect for showing not only the Triesnecker rille system, but also the large and intriguing depressed area to the north-north-west of Triesnecker itself. This is presumably a collapse feature of sorts, perhaps created by the withdrawal of a reservoir of sub-surface magma.
