The y axis is intensity. This is uncorrected for instrument response. The plan is to normalise this and following spectra to the local continuum, and then to see over time whether the relative heights of the peaks change as the system evolves.

I've also come up with a method for stacking the TIFFs or FITS containing the spectrum in RSpec, avoiding the need to create a video with the accompanying loss of bit depth. The workflow is:

Use PIPP to align the TIFFs on the zero order star image and then output TIFFs again. Then open the TIFFs sequentially in RSpec with averaging turned on.
