About this image

I and some friends have been tracking Vesta in binoculars recently. Saturday and Sunday nights were stunning so I thought I would take some pictures of the region including Sagittarius “teapot” asterism  extending west to cover Vesta. Here is a single image taken around 00:30UT on Monday morning.  Mild processing in Photoshop. There’s plenty to see besides Vesta (near the top right and circled in yellow) including Saturn, M8, M20m M21 M22, the teapot asterism itself and the bowl of the “teaspoon”.
