Object/Date: C/2017 S3 (PANSTARRS) @ July 20,2018 10:17 UT Description: Comet C/2017 S3 (PANSTARRS) photographed on July 20th 218, after a pair of outbursts developed a ionic tail during some days, but this one weaken fast. In this image the tail had already started to vanish, although still is appreciable some structural detail in it. Tech data: Telescope Planewave 20" CDK f/4.5 & Camera FLI PL11002M. Mosaic of 2 tiles, 9 min. each. Non-composite stacking. Remotely from Mayhill, New Mexico (USA).
