About this image

Having realised that I had arrived at the door of Solar Imaging when the Sun was at the minimum of its activity, I decided to save the pennies and acquire a Daystar Quark in an attempt to capture more detail. A smaller scope was used, in this case the fantastic WO Z61 with the images captured using a ZWO ASI 120MM, 1,000 frames, stacked in Registax using the best 75% then processed and colour added in Photoshop.
