About this image

It's faint but this is the trail of the Chinese Queqiao booster on its last but one perigee before re-entry over Bikini Atoll on September 25. This object was originally picked up as an NEO soon after its launch in May. At the time it had the designation ZK1AE47 but it was quickly identified as artificial. The next perigee is Sept 14 and re-entry is expected at 10:32:53 UTC on September 25.
