About this image

Mercury imaged in the morning in variable seeing conditions, mostly Ant IV with occasional intervals of Ant III. There was no wind, allowing the use of a small region of interest and a high frame rate of 85 fps. A total of 200,000 captured video frames yielded just over 900 that were usable, i.e 0.45%, which is about average. The stacked and sharpened images are in good agreement with a blurred  Messenger image.
