About this image

I always wanted to try and complete a full disc mosaic of the Sun but the ZWO 120MM wasn't really practical to achieve this requiring many individual frames to be brought together into a single image. The 174MM was just the ticket, allowing my to take 9 x 1,000 frames of the Sun, stacked in Registax and then use Photoshop to create and process the mosaic.

A filament is visible centre right of the disc and a prominence (separate image) visible on the SE limb of the Sun.
