Nice image of a grand comet. Can you let me have the date of the observation so I can enter it in the BAA Comet Archive. Also if you have other comet images form any era please let me have them for the Archive.

I had scanned this a number of years ago and this morning I hunted up the precise details, which were written on the back of the print in an old album. These are now included.
