About this image

Image was taken 12hrs 35min UT on 14th April 1986.

The bright object below centre is the Omega Centauri globular cluster.  A little to the right of the comet, a fuzzy patch is NGC 5128, the Centaurus A  galaxy.  This image is oriented similar to that of 11th April and comparing the two, (crudely put), the movement of the comet has clearly been upwards and to the right.
