Grazing Occultation of Jupiter

About this image

One of a series of images of the event which occurred in the later afternoon of 16th June 2005. (around 06hrs UT.)  From my site well over half the disc of Jupiter was obscured at maximum as it slid along the southern limb of the Moon. The images show the approach, graze, and separation and can be emailed in a powerpoint presentation form to interested persons.
