About this image

This is a 3x2 deg FoV shot of 46P/Wirtanen from Chelmsford, UK taken just over an hour ago. Total mag is 4.9 and the coma diameter is around 0.8 deg. This is from a light polluted site and much larger diameters are being reported. It is just visible in binoculars from my garden but it is hard work. I drove a few miles out of town to a darker site and it is easy from there.
