We don't normally feature Mercury in the slot, because it's really tough to get decent images, but Simon has been sending in a series of interesting images of the nearest planet to our Sun and so here is an example. Working with an object so close to the sun and so low in the sky is always going to be a serious challenge. The results speak for themselves.
