About this image

This spring's Kelling heath was one of the best for clear weather in the Spring, I go with friends expecting cloud so any astronomy is a bonus. My main activity at Kelling Heath is to buzz around the sky with my 12" F4 Dob but I usually also set up a camera with a wide field lens (50mm) and just leave it running. The night was very cold and dry, the tarp with my Dob on was dry all night. I'm sure I could do more with the data I have but I lack the processing experience to do much better, with time I'll come back to these data and try again, but for now it is here for all to see.

The Dark nebula near Deneb shows up very nicely!
