Title

First Jupiter of the new apparition

About this image

Jupiter from last night using the University of Leicester's 20 inch Planewave DK telescope. Seeing was fairly poor but some interesting details present on the disk including a dark EZ filled with yellowish material and an active NEB. The NTB and NNTB virtually invisible- quite a change compared to the planet's look a few years back.
