Perseid Fireball with UV/Blue spectrum

About this image

Hi res spectrum captured using cheap plastic film grating! Results are remarkable compared to much more expensive glass gratings!

Only a partial spectrum due to the fall of the meteor but excellent dispersion. Less than .5nm per pixel.

Fireball just peeked out from behind a cloud!
