Just back from a very enjoyable EVS meeting at the Grimbergen Public Observatory, just north of Brussels. Professional and Amateur astronomers gathered for the week-end from all over Europe and the USA.

L to R in the photo: Prof Boris Gaensicke (Warwick Uni), Robin Mentel (Leiden Uni), Prof Christian Knigge (Southampton Uni) and Arto Oksanen (Helsinki).

These EVS meetings are held every 3 years and the 2022 meeting is tentatively planned for Barcelona.
