It's not often that you get the chance to image the far side of the Moon in excellent seeing. This is an afocal shot using my mobile phone.

As it's not April 1st Nick, I thought either I missed something obvious or there is a delightful story about what went on at the Excel Centre to get you to the far side ;-)

To add to the mystery I observed it as well. In fact it was high in the sky for over 12 hours!

In fact I’ve seen it too but location Lincoln a while back. Marvellous Moon.
