About this image

To continue with a yearly theme...

For 4th year running I have been able to image all the planets (no Earth thou- before some smart Alec pipes up!) from my back garden in St.Albans, UK, over the 12mnths of the year.

All imaged with 444mm Dob. except Mercury & Venus which used 222mm Dob.

Imaging dates were;

  • Mercury 25/8 IR
  • Venus 20/4 IR
  • Mars 20/1 RGB
  • Jupiter 3/7 RGB
  • Saturn 19/9 L(IR)RGB
  • Uranus 3/12 (IR) colourised for aesthetic reasons
  • Neptune 29/12 (IR) colourised for aesthetic reasons

Happy New Year to all
Martin
