About this image

Taken in near-IR to reduce sky brightness.  The faint star is around 12th magnitude, not bad for a 2-second exposure only 36 minutes after sunset!

Apologies for the dust-ring and vignetting. I hardly ever use Sloan i' filter, did not have a flat to hand, and could not take one just afterwards due to a social occasion that had already been delayed by the observation.
