About this image

C/2020 A2 (Iwamoto) moving at 4.2 arcsec/min through Lyra this morning. This image was taken from Chelmsford as the Moon set. The movie is made up of 40 subframes each of 60s. I get a total magnitude of 12.2 and a coma diameter of around 3 arcmin. The comet is just over 1au away from us and the Sun.
