About this image

The elusive inner most planet Mercury is on show over the next few days. Here’s my picture taken from Canewdon in Essex UK  at 17.47UT this evening 2020 Feb 6th.
Venus is the bright object in the top left and Mercury is the fainter object in the bottom right nearly in the trees. Between 17.30UT and 18.00UT Mercury was plainly visible to the unaided eye.
