About this image

Decided to use my 'nifty fifty' to capture a wide field view of Orion before it's lost from my location for this winter. HDR stacked using DSS to minimise the noise caused by the light pollution and processed using IRIS, the most difficult job being the removal of the massively varying light pollution intensity over such a wide field of view.
