About this image

C/2019 Y4 (ATLAS) is currently within a few degrees of M81/M82 and it is now bright enough to pick up using a camera and lens. This is my take on the conjunction from my light-polluted back garden in Chelmsford. This is a crop from a 200mm, f/2.8L + Sony A7s stack. The field of view is around 5 x 4 deg.
