About this image

The clouds cleared around 10pm BST last night allowing me to see Venus and the Pleiades. I then had a clear spell of weather to image this comet. The coma diameter is smaller and the magnitude is fainter compared to last week but there was a bright Moon in the sky nearby. This comet is very diffuse so a bright sky will significantly affect estimates since the outer coma is lost. We need to wait a couple of weeks until we can see this again in a dark sky before making any predictions.
