April Night Sky

About this image

A very clear April night to make good use of a new patio. Tried some star hopping as April is the perfect time of year for hunting galaxies, but try that 1km from Galway City centre. Was great manage seeing M51 (The Whirlpool Galaxy) as well as the Leo Triplet through my 20 year old 200mm Meade LX10 Telescope.
