April 25 provided yet another clear, transparent night in Chelmsford. The seeing is very good too. Here are the two bright circumpolar ALTASes. C/2019 Y1 has a very condensed coma with a bright ion tail focussed like a searchlight beam pointing almost directly at the pole. It is at a declination of 77 deg now.
