About this image

It's been a while since we featured Saturn and this image, taken after a long night and as dawn broke is worthy of the return of the Lord of the Rings. Peter reports that Saturn finally rose high enough to capture from his observatory, but seeing was poor although skies were steady and he could barely get any data in infrared. Most of this image is one RGB sequence with a little of the best infrared added. Worth the effort Peter.
