About this image

Image of large prominence on south west limb of Sun taken early evening with my solar modified 6" f/8 achromat using the pressure tuned etalon from a Lunt 50THa. 1000 frame SER recorded for the prominence and a 500 frame SER for the limb detail via a DMK21au mono camera and IC capture,stacked in Autostakkert3,images combined in Photoshop CS2 using layers then wavelet sharpened in ImPPG,returning back to Photoshop for final processing and false colouring.
