Richard 7 and I travelled to Norfolk in an attempt to observe today's occultation of Venus by the Moon. Our prediction of where the cloud would least likely be suggested north Norfolk. We missed all of the occultation event, but 36 minutes after emergence from behind the Moon, a gap in the cloud allowed us to see both crescents.
