Venus in Daytime

I had to prove that my setup would have successfully captured the occultation of Venus by the Moon yesterday if it hadn’t been clouded out. The proof is in the pudding, as they say!

Here is Venus captured today at midday BST from the Scottish Highlands (Beinn View Observatory).

What a beautiful crescent!
