About this image

We have featured Trevor's images previously on PotW.  This time he has managed to capture the Large Magellanic Cloud just as a meteor streaked through the field.  Trevor reports that he was setting up about an hours drive NE of his home location in South Australia in order to photograph some star trails.  The 3.3 days old moon was behind him and nicely illuminated the cliff face, adding to the impact of this image.
