About this image

Testing a ZWO camera with the new highly IR sensitive IMX462 chip. This is an image through a ZWO methane filter having a bandpass of 25nm centred on 890nm. The camera seems to be about 3x-4x more sensitive than the excellent ASI290MM at these wavelengths. The image is the result of the best 60% of just 3mins of video so an accumulated exposure time of just 108secs. Normally with that accumulated exposure time the image would be plagued with shot noise.
