About this image

From indoors I can now pick up the comet in the NNW as it moves through Lyn on its way to lower UMa. My sky started to clear after 23:00 UT and I was able to take a wide range of exposures before the comet was occulted by the tree to the N.

It's still a fine sight in 10x50 binoculars and longer exposures hint at its broad dust tail.
