About this image

Cirrus cloud slow to disperse at sunset, not reasonably clear until comet lower to the horizon. Some light pollution from Horsham and Guildford. Processed in Astro Pixel Processor which deals well with calibration frames, colour balance and light pollution removal but doesn't support aligning frames on comet. Hence have sacrificed some cometary detail  by aligning on stars but still shows synchronic bands in the dust tail. FOV is ~ 22 x 16 degrees.

Nick - That is a really nice wide-field image very well processed. The striae in the dust tail show up very well. The shape of the dust tail for this comet is an excellent example of the dynamics of dust motion following release from the nucleus.
