Very easy naked eye object, though low and nowhere near the brightness of Hale-Bopp in 1997, Neowise is easily imaged using modern day smartphone tech (which in itself is quite remarkable in its ability)

(Also Hyakutake in April 1996 was much brighter, but also a lot closer to Earth!)
