About this image

My second attempt at Mars in the current apparition, having made lots of mistakes during the first one last week! Mars' altitude was 37 degrees, requiring the use of an ADC with the one-shot colour camera. Seeing was average, Ant III at times, often IV.

This image is a sharpened stack of 250 frames from three combined videos. The south polar cap and also some of the albedo features around CM 235 degrees are visible.
