About this image

Using a Coronado PST solar telescope with a x15 lens on just a camera tripod. I place a Compact Cannon Camera up to the lens and took a picture of prominences on the western limb of the Sun and the height of these prominences is around 60,000 km. North is at the bottom of the picture and south is at the top of the picture
