About this image

This is a close-up of the cluster of stars at the centre of the Pacman Nebula, including the hot, blue-white multiple stars at its heart. After processing in PixInsight, including photometric colour calibration of the star colours, I up-scaled this image x2, from the whole Pacman image, using Topaz Gigapixel and then adjusted the contrast to bring out the smaller details.
