Chart of Martian Dust Storms based on 19th November Observation

About this image

This is a chart showing the western end of dust storm as it progresses.  I drew the map last week with the intention of plotting the storm.  It should be noted here that the chart only shows the western end of the dust storm which was visible on the 19th November.  In fact there are significant dust deposits in the Mariner Valley, Erythraeum and the Argyre Basin- however I have yet to make observations of those regions so I have not included them on the map.

You can follow the progress of the storm via Richard McKim's splendid blog on the Mars Section website: https://britastro.org/node/24324

Cheers,

-Paul
