About this image

My goal was to sketch the view to scale. I calculated the field-of-view and drew a circle in proportion. I already practiced holding a millimeter scale while viewing with both eyes open. The FOV was 2.42 degrees = 145.45 arc minutes. 

(Focal length = 660 mm; Objective = 102 mm. F/6.47. Ocular focal length = 32 mm (Celestron Ploessl)
