Title

Lead up to the Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn

About this image
I thought the sky had clouded over by the time I finished work, but my wife said she had seen the planets, there they were very low in the South West. Jupiter is just under 4 degrees above the horizon with Saturn approximately 40' away.
You can see the Jovian moons From Left to Right. Europa, Callisto, Io and Ganymede.
Now look at Saturn, at about 5pm you can see it's moon Titan.
I also got the telescope out and with it laying almost paralell to the ground I was was able to see both planets in the field of view.
Just after the planets set the sky clouded over again.
