Two well-known deep sky objects in the winter sky. To highlight the abundance of young stars in Messier 35 (open cluster of about 100 million years old) in contrast to the more mature NGC 2158 (he estimated just over 1000 million years)

Lovely picture - it's easy to see why it was thought that NGC 2158 was thought to be a globular cluster at one time.
