About this image

Schroter's Valley & the spacecraft that could have landed there in 1973.

If funding cuts had not resulted in the cancellation of Apollo 18 then Schroter's Valley was the probable destination.  This is not a mock up, it is lunar module LM-13 and would have been used on Apollo 18.

Now located at Cradle of Aviation museum on Long Island.  Visited in 2019.

It was restored for the TV series "From the Earth to the Moon" where it played LM's Eagle, Intrepid, Falcon & Challenger.
