About this image

I took the opportunity to visit the local moors when it was clear and there was no Moon around. During the early hours I could clearly see the Milky Way rising so I thought I'd get a few shots of it. I used a Star Adventurer tracking mount to get better, longer exposure images for stacking. I'm pretty pleased with the result given that I was using a basic 18-55mm DSLR kit lens.
