About this image

Venus this morning. The planet is coming from behind the Sun, but is still only 11 degrees away, so imaging needs some care. There is little sign of a phase, since it is so soon after conjunction.  At this stage there are few, if any, strong visible features. A couple of faint striations show up in more or less the right place, but they could just be artefacts.
