About this image

Barnard’s Star imaged last night. A nearby red dwarf star in Ophiuchus 6 light years distant. In 1916 E E Barnard measured its proper motion as 10.3 arcsec/yr. The fastest star relative to the Sun. Easy to locate as there is a pretty arrowhead asterism of stars in the field to the south.

You may wish to merge your observation with https://britastro.org/observations/observation.php?id=10471 to give three positions of Barnard's star taken roughly 11 months apart.
