About this image

Very  bright  Display  of NLC  seen   on Night  of 23/24 June.  Lasted from 21.39 U.T.  until  22.01 U.T. Rapid  brightening and a rapid  Fade.  At maximum Clouds  extended along the Horizon  from WNW to NE.  The  brightest  patch was  due  North at commencement of the Display,

Towards the  end of the display I suspected that  the  Ice  clouds were extending into the Bowl of Ursa Major and also close to Deneb in Cygnus.  Contrast enhanced  images confirmed the Naked eye  suspicions.
