After a run of bad weather conditions since the 26th June there was a sort weather window on the evening of the 6th July. 2021

At 21.27 U.T. there was the first hint Naked eye of the possible formation of NLC. Using Live View and taking an image showed that the clouds were quite clearly forming . I took a series images and in combination with Live view and naked eye followed the display until 21.58 when to all intents naked eye they had faded to the edge of visibility. The image above is the last in the series.taken at 21.58 U.T.
