About this image

Prominence and Chromosphere combination which has been inverted. mask applied to Chromosphere and contrast adjusted to reveal prominence. Slight sharpening added to the proms but I also wanted to retain that ‘wispy’ feel.

Unsharp mask applied to the Chromosphere at 5 and 10 pixels to enhance larger ‘surface’ structure.
